I originally saw this piece, The Urn of Plenty Autumn by NeedleTreasuresNook posted on a Facebook group and knew I wanted to stitch it since Autumn is my favorite time of the year.
The chart comes as a digital download. The chart is black and white and was very easy for my eyes to see. I chose a piece of 16ct aida I had in my stash and all DMC floss with one added fancy floss, Cassic Colorworks Fallen Leaves.
I had thought to frame it but I don't have much wall space left so I went hunting through my collection of mounting boards and found one that worked perfectly.
I laced the stitched piece on a piece of mat board, the using craft glue, adhered it to the board.
Because a small portion of the apple on the board showed, a dded a burlap bow to cover it. The cording and beads were already part of the board and matched the design colors so I left them.
